Is there more than one session of the ACE Theatre program?

The ACE Theatre program now features two distinct sessions to further accommodate our students schedules and learning styles.

  • The ACE Theatre Intensive – A two-week program designed for beginning students
  • The ACE Advanced Theatre – A four-week program designed for continuing theatre students

 

When does the ACE Theatre program happen?

The ACE Theatre intensive program meets Monday – Thursday from 9am – 3pm, July 11 through July 21.
The ACE Advanced Theatre program meets Monday – Thursday from 9am – 3pm, July 11 through August 4.

Who can attend the ACE Theatre program?

Though located at Oakwood school, both ACE Theatre program are open to students entering grades 7 through 10 from any school.

When are the performances by the ACE Theatre program?

There is a final presentation by the ACE Advanced Theatre program on Friday August 5 at 7:00pm. Student attendance at this presentation is mandatory.

Where does the ACE Theatre program meet?

Both ACE Theatre programs meet on the campus of Oakwood Secondary School, located at 11600 Magnolia Blvd. North Hollywood, CA 91601.

How does my child apply for the ACE Theatre program?

All ACE applications are done online. Click here to begin!
Applications and $400 deposit are due by Friday, May 31.

How much does the ACE Theatre program cost?

ACE Theatre Intensive regular tuition: $1450
Tuition Discount! Apply and pay $400 deposit before May 1, save $50!
ACE Advanced Theatre regular tuition: $2100

Who can apply?

Both ACE Theatre programs are offered to students entering grades 7-10 from any school. Students with little or no Theatre training should apply for the ACE Theatre Intensive. Returning and advanced students should apply for the ACE Advanced Theatre program. If unsure which program to apply for, please fill in an application and you will be contacted by the Chairperson of the program with information about the audition process.

Does the Academy of Creative Education offer financial aid?

The ACE offers limited need-based financial aid grants. To apply, please fill in the online request form.

Summary of important dates:

May 1: Cutoff date for early bird tuition discount
May 31: Cutoff date for enrollment applications, financial aid applications and $400 deposit due.
July 11: First day of both ACE Theatre Programs
